The downside of a vehicle-centric society.

More like the downside of an economy based entirely on greed and adrenaline.

They aren’t wrong. That’s why the manufacturing decline in the U.S. continues.*

*I’m not against regulation, it is just a fact.

I like how the other glaring issues are ignored in the videos shown:

One lady knew going in she could only afford $3k and walks out with a signed contract with almost 3x the value. Smart...

Second lady leaves her child in a car to run the other kid into daycare... No. No NO NO! You don’t ever leave your child in the car unattended. Then let’s mock and joke about that situation at the end of the video

Come on...I’d argue that second one is worse than money targeting jerks. Hooray for accountability...

I just has to be autos this time... Me and my buddy are actually kind hoping for another housing decline so we can pick up a property for really cheap, live in it for a while, then sell it off later. Economic waves ftw!

It’s one thing to be poor and get stuck paying higher interest rates from predatory BHPH lots. It’s another thing to pay $8000 (pre-interest) for a $3000 car when there is so much information available to anyone who spends 5 minutes looking for it.

Seriously, even if you don’t have any financial common sense don’t you have family? Or friends? Someone that would say “woah.. wait a minute, what’s your APR?” I was taught in my tweens that BHPH lots take advantage of people with high rates. Same thing with title loans.

Maybe it’s no coincidence that primary schools teach virtually nothing about financial awareness. You get what you pay for.

Part of the problem is that bhph lots can have higher prices because people with terrible credit don’t have the option of private party or lots of traditional dealers. They have bhph lots as an option, who all have high prices, so the price seems in line with the market that they are shopping in. Plus we are talking about people with all of their human flaws, so they want a certain car, etc, that's what they'll get.

One one side buyers should know better. On the other that's greedy.
